Professor Kieran Harvey leads the Organogenesis and Cancer Program at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia and leads a laboratory in the Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Monash University. Kieran’s team studies organ size control during development, and how size-control signalling pathways can be therapeutically targeted in human cancers. His group focuses on the Hippo pathway, which he helped to discover in the early 2000’s. Kieran performed his PhD at the University of Adelaide (1996-2000) and postdoc at Massachusetts General Hospital and UC Berkeley (2001-2005).
